Besides serving on the firm’s Operating Committee, Tammy leads the team of professionals at BEJS that is responsible for the service we provide to our clients, which encompasses funding administration, policy service, and performance analysis on inforce policies. Like the rest of her Client Service teammates, she takes pride in serving as an advocate for clients while navigating through the life insurance carriers and is an ace at exploring the details to find out how things work so our clients don’t have to.
Tammy holds a bachelor’s degree from High Point University and an MBA from UNC Charlotte. In addition to her experience working with life insurance, over ten years of her career have been in a corporate setting handling Executive Compensation matters at large publicly-held companies. Tammy holds Worldatwork’s Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP) designation and is currently attending courses at Queens University in pursuit of a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification.
Tammy and her husband, Brian, live in Charlotte. Although not originally a Charlotte native, she enjoys indulging in the many treasures the “Queen City” has to offer – including the arts and culture community, parks and greenway trails, the Carolina Panthers, and the local food scene. Much of her personal time is spent being passionately involved with local organizations such as Girls on the Run, the Wells Fargo Championship, and many other projects through her church. Tammy also serves as a member of the board of Clayworks, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion, advancement, and teaching of ceramic arts.
