For Gerald, the words, “Preserving Priorities” is not just a company tagline. Whether collaborating with professional advisors or consulting with clients, Gerald is determined to help clients identify their priorities and formulate and implement the right plans to make sure those priorities are preserved. The tools Gerald uses, life, disability, and long term care insurance, may seem narrow; but, for both business and personal planning, the application of those tools is quite broad in solving problems associated with dying too soon, becoming disabled, or living a long life.
Gerald attended Furman University and lettered in varsity tennis, having won the Southern Conference Championship in doubles. He transferred from Furman after his sophomore year and became a Georgia Bulldog where he received undergraduate, Law, and MBA degrees. He has served the public in the financial services arena since 1981. Gerald and his wife, Diane, live in Cotswold in Charlotte. They have two adult children, Eric and Nicki, who are both attorneys.
When not working, Gerald enjoys playing tennis and spending time in the mountains of NC where he hikes, bikes, and takes in the beauty of the outdoors with family and friends. He is also an avid sports fan whether he is following Georgia football, the Panthers, or ACC basketball. Gerald is a past President of The Kiwanis Club of Charlotte and on the steering committee of Queens University Estate Planners Day.
