Besides serving on the firm’s Operating Committee, April leads the team of professionals at BEJS that is responsible for the service we provide to our clients, which encompasses funding administration, policy service, and performance analysis on inforce policies. April began her career in the financial services industry in 1997 at the former First Union National Bank. Since then, her professional roles have included those in sales, case design, and plan management – primarily in the life insurance space. She has been with BEJS and the M Financial community since 2002. This experience makes her a perfect fit to serve as our clients’ advocate – helping to ensure that these sometimes-complicated plans stay on course.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, April also holds a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation.
She is the mother of twin boys, Nate and Patrick, and is passionate about involvement in issues involving childhood education. As a result, April served as past president of her boys’ elementary school’s Parent Teacher Association. She is currently on the Parent Leadership Board at Trinity Episcopal School where her boys are middle school students. In her free time, April enjoys running, reading, and cooking.
